How Did Deimos Joined Rainbow
Gerald Morris worked in the Explosives Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. He had a paper considered one of the leading sources in the field of forensic investigation of bomb fragments. In 1999, Morris joined Rainbow as a demolitions expert. It was John Clark who recruited him. Morris took part in Operation Mystic Tiger under Ding Chavez’s leadership. The group caught the commander of the Phoenix Group, an eco-terrorist organization. Other notable missions include Zero Gambit and Steel Rose. He brought Maxim Kutkin and Nikola Gospic to justice.
Why Did Deimos Betrayed Rainbow
It all began in 2012 when Morris was in an operation in an Eastern European country. The mission was to defuse a bomb and catch the bomb maker. Deimos found out that the guy who made the bomb had other wrongdoings under his belt. He did not follow the order and killed the bomb maker. Gerald’s operation mate, Daniel Bogart, wanted to arrest him but Gerald killed him. He then let the bomb explode and faked his death to escape.

The Legion’s first operation was an attack on Rainbow. Several other attempts to take down the organization followed. The most recent was in 2024. Things didn’t go well and Deimos was caught and taken to the Rainbow headquarters.
Characteristics of Rainbow Six Siege Deimos Operator
Now let’s talk about the playable character Rainbow Six Siege Deimos. He is an attacking operator. His main weapons are the AK-74M assault rifle and the M590A1 shotgun. He uses the .44 Vendetta revolver as his secondary weapon. His gadgets include frag grenades and hard breach charges. The latter is used to breach walls and hatches. You can plant it on any surface that can be destroyed. It takes two seconds to place and you cannot activate it remotely.
The DeathMark is a gadget exclusively used by Rainbow Six Siege Deimos. This is a drone in the shape of a helicopter. It is used for tracking. Deimos can put a target on any identified defender and discover their location. The drawback of this gadget is that Deimos’s location is also revealed to the enemy. Only the revolver can be used while a DeathMark is active. The mark is active for 20-30 seconds and it can be deactivated at any time.
